The small, family-run Bed & Breakfast with six guest rooms offers a simply breathtaking view upon the characteristic hill ranges of the Amalfi Coast, upon the town of Minori and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Orto Paradiso's unique location on the lemon terraces above the town allows for relaxing holidays in the midst of nature and makes it easy for you to slow down and unwind far from the hectic pace of everyday life.
The location of the B&B is fascinating not only because of the panorama it offers. It is also ideal for 'holidays without car'. The beach of Minori (ca. 500 m) is within walking distance and it is only about 400 m to the town center, where you can take leisurely strolls, give yourself a treat at lovingly run restaurants or stop by famous Pasticceria Sal De Riso.
The style of B&B Orto Paradiso is thoroughly and typically Amalfitan style with a lot of colorful majolica tiles from local manufactories.
Each of the individually designed rooms includes a private sea view terrace, where, given the view of the coast, the sea and Minori, you can enjoy “pure Amalfi” right in the morning. A lava stone table and the characteristic, colorful ceramic tiles make for a unique holiday atmosphere.
Sun beds, loungers and a sun shade make it easy to give in to Italian dolce far niente – Orto Paradiso is an ideal place for that.
The lovely guest rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. Each room is furnished with a double bed, Sat-TV, air conditioning as well as a safe and includes a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. At the B&B WLAN access is free of charge.
What is special about the rooms is that each one includes a small kitchenette where you can prepare small meals and, in bad weather as well as during the months of low season, your breakfast.
There are two room categories, Classic and Superior, which differ mainly in size of the rooms’ terraces, but are otherwise of equal standard.
The breakfast terrace, a sun terrace and a WiFi area are for shared use by all the guests. This also goes for the small pool, which is open from end of May to the beginning of October (changes due to weather conditions possible). It is a spot where you can cool off and enjoy the fantastic view of the coast!
Book now and discover the Amalfi Coast!
At the Amalfi Coast, you can go on marvelous hiking tours along old rural trails and stepped paths and enjoy some quite spectacular panoramas. Minori, located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, is an ideal starting point.
One of the old stepped paths to Ravello passes below the B&B. We strongly recommend visiting the famous town, not only because of its prominent location, but also because of its outstanding building structure, its culture and its history.
Parking & reserved parking space
Should you be arriving by car, you might find a public parking space in the cul-de-sac below the stepped path to Orto Paradiso. However, availability of public parking spaces can at no time be guaranteed.
* Furthermore, for the guests of the B&B reserved parking is available for a fee on lockable premises not far from the stepped path. Please mind that, especially with regard to a reserved rental car, the parking spaces are rather narrow and also limited in number.
The B&B offers two parking rates on the lockable premises (see pricing paragraph below): Fees for the spaces in the back part of those premises are lower as the parked vehicle is not freely accessible. This might suit guests who prefer to use the public means of transportation for their excursions. Fees for the spaces in the front part are higher as the parked vehicle is, in general, freely accessible. These spaces should be booked by guests who wish to use their car every day.
The very friendly owning family is glad to help you with your luggage, as there are for sure 150 steps to climb to Orto Paradiso. Please mind the times this service is offered (more information about the luggage service).
Nearest train station: Salerno (ca. 20 km), then on to Minori by SITA bus (Salerno – Amalfi line).
