It's a charming accommodation – B&B Da Clotilde (in English: At Clotilde’s), named after the friendly owner, who runs the Bed & Breakfast with her sons.
Cordiality and hospitality are of great importance to the owning family.
From the Fjord of Furore, an arm of the sea at the coast, a scenic road runs to the higher districts – to where B&B Da Clotilde is located and where the Costiera Amalfitana shows one of its most beautiful faces: surrounded by fragrant lemon and vine terraces, scattered houses nestle against the mountain slopes.
The Bed & Breakfast offers four rooms and apartment Ravello, which we have chosen exclusively for you. The apartment includes two double bedrooms and a bathroom, the latter featuring bathtub with shower device, WC, bidet and hair dryer.
The front room opens onto the apartment’s highlight – the balcony and the spectacular view of the coast and the Tyrrhenian Sea it offers. Enjoy your time out in the open and relax on the garden furniture and sun beds. Read a good book or simply take a sunbath – spend stress-free holidays in magnificent surroundings at B&B Da Clotilde.
Apartment Ravello also features air conditioning with heating system, refrigerator and TV.
There is a reserved parking space for your car.
Breakfast is served either on your private balcony (surcharge € 5) or on the shared terrace which opens upon a far-reaching view of the sea, too. It is a typically Italian breakfast of home-made cakes, brioches and croissants, fruit and yogurt, jam and sweet spread. Sausages, cheese and eggs are prepared and served upon request (surcharge € 5).
The family runs a restaurant, which is located somewhat above the B&B and goes by the charming name of L’Incanto. We cannot but warmly recommend its seafood cuisine and its home-made Delizie di Limone (fine lemon tartlets).
For those who have booked half board for their stay, dinner is served at the restaurant. Weather permitting, you are seated on the narrow terrace enjoying the view of the steep coast and of the sea at your feet while having dinner.
More restaurants and pizzerias are ca. 650 m, grocery stores, bars and tobacco shops about 1200 m off.
It is 9 km to the nearest beach, Capo di Conca. There’s a bus to the beach several times a day, the stop is not far from the B&B.
Furore is called „paese dipinto“, painted village, where, for a few years now, artists have been perpetuating their works of art on house and supporting walls.
Only a stone’s throw away, Grotta dello Smeraldo, a sea grotto near Conca dei Marini, fascinates you with its spectacular stalagmite formations.
Perfectly marked hiking trails meet the expectations of active vacationers. Not far from the accommodation you can start on tours along hiking trail Sentiero degli Dei, which runs from Bomerano (Agerola) to Positano. And do stop by vista point Paipo above Bomerano. The sunsets you enjoy from up there are one of a kind.
The exact address and the information about the details of your journey are included in the booking confirmation.
