Charming, casual and very well-tended – this is a fitting description for the Hotel Il Nespolo in Casamicchiola Terme in Ischia. The owning family has been running the hotel for many years themselves and is caring touchingly for the wishes of their guests. Due to its atmosphere and its location, the hotel is ideal for a “feel-good holiday”.
Casamicciola Terme is the most famous and most important thermal health resort of the island. While at the harbour vivacious life is bubbling, the Bagni subdivision, situated on a slope where also the Hotel Il Nespolo is located, is more tranquil.
In immediate vicinity of the hotel you find the famous thermal springs of Gurgitelle. At the same time you reach the sandy beach, the harbour and the town centre of Casamicciola Terme within only ca. 700 m.
But not only the position of the house promises refreshing holidays. The hotel has been completely renovated in 2004 and attracts by its “interior values”, as well. The large thermal pool and a whirlpool invite to take a bath, the ample sun terrace offers a lot of space for relaxation. An extra comfort feature of the hotel: in the cooler months, a sauna is at the disposal of the guests.
The guest rooms of the hotel are tastefully furnished. The standard equipment includes air condition and heating, TV, safe, hairdryer and telephone. Your bathroom is equipped with shower or bath tub/bidet/WC.
In the hotel restaurant “la mamma“ is still doing her own cooking for her guests. Imaginative, with a special attention to the freshness and quality of the ingredients and always ready to include the wishes of the guests in the selection of the menu… In the Hotel Il Nespolo you enjoy Ischia’s cuisine with its “tipici sapori mediterrani”, its typically Mediterranean flavour. You choose from various primi and second. A generous salad buffet with antipasti and side dishes completes the menu. For breakfast, you also serve yourself from the buffet.
You may park your car on the public parking lot about 20 m from the hotel. Upon request, the hotel will provide you with a guarded parking space.
The nearest bus station is located ca. 20 m from the hotel. It is generally recommended to use the means of public transportation, due to the very well-organized bus network.
Our special recommendation: Ischia is also called the “green island“. In search of experienced hiking guides, who will show our guests trails aside from the tourist paths, we met Biagio Mazzella and Giovanna di Rosa.
