: From your holiday apartment you have got a wonderful view of the sea.

Only a few metres from the beach and surrounded by a large garden, Villa Galatà offers the perfect possibility to combine bathing and culture during your holiday. The altogether five holiday apartments of the affectionate owner, Signora Galatà, are located in the southern part of the Sorrentine Peninsula, in the lovely small seaside village of Marina del Cantone, a charming place because of its beautiful beach and also its nearness to the world famous Amalfi coast.

Whether you want to enjoy the southern sun and relax at the beach or whether you want to go on a discovery tour of the Amalfi coast – after an exciting day you will surely be glad to return to your friendly holiday apartment.

Villa Galatà is located on a ca. 800 m² property. Upon entering, you will first notice the well-tended garden and the villa’s nice façade.

The roof terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the sea at Marina del Cantone and of the green surroundings, can be used by the guests of all the holiday apartments. We have chosen, exclusively for you, a first-floor apartment with a ca. 10 m² roofed terrace and sea view.

: The bedroom of your Sorrento holiday apartment.

This Sorrento holiday apartment covers about 40 m² and accommodates up to four persons. Besides the bedroom with double bed, there are sleeping facilities in the kitchen-cum-living room. Two chairs can be turned into bed sofas for a possible third and fourth person, respectively.

The kitchen of the holiday apartment offers, among other things, a full oven. At the dining table, you can relish local delicacies while enjoying a view of the sea and your stay at Villa Galatà.

The kitchen-cum-living room gives onto the terrace. The bathroom of your accommodation is equipped with shower, WC, bidet and hair dryer and adorned with the richly decorated tiles typical for the Amalfi coast.

Furthermore, your holiday apartment at Villa Galatà offers Sat-TV with foreign channels and air conditioning with integrated heating system. For a fee, you can use the laundry facilities at the villa.

Upon prior request, the owner can furnish a children’s cot.

: Arrival in the south: the beautiful beach of Marina del Cantone.

You can park your car in a shaded parking lot on the premises of your Sorrento holiday apartment.

The nearest restaurants are to be found at the beach of Marina del Cantone, only about 200 metres from Villa Galatà. The nearest supermarket is located on the neighbouring camping site (seasonal opening hours). A bigger choice of stores is to be found at Nerano, 1.5 kilometres off.

During your stay at Villa Galatà, you can choose from a wide range of possible excursions: Discover the metropolis of Naples or visit the world famous excavations at Pompeii.

The Amalfi coast is only a few kilometres from Marina del Cantone – besides unique coastal landscapes, it will fascinate you with its charming towns and diverse hiking routes. Or start on a hike directly from Villa Galatá: On your way to Punta Campanella, the western most point of the Amalfi coast, you will meet with magnificent views of Capri and the rocky cliffs of Faraglioni.

: The spacious roof terrace of Villa Galatà with its 180º sea view can be used by all the guests.

From Marina del Cantone, you can go on boat trips to Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Those interested in diving can stop by the diving school at the coastal village.
